Guest tudor
I have a light weight fiberglass hardtop from sometime in the 80s or so its got plastic windows and molded raingutters but does look like a real one sortof. I am in need of the rear weather strip and few if anyone I have talked to seems to know more than just remember seeing one once. thank you Peter (tudor)kb1exx@embarqmail.com 941 505 5531
1957Birdman
I believe there was more than one outfit that made these tops. I had one on the first '57 that I owned. I was glad to get rid of it and get a car with the correct top. As for your weatherstrip, take a look at J. C. Whitney. They have a number of different kinds of weatherstrip that you can buy and hopefully you can find some that fits.Good Luck,
Guest 56Tbird
Were the original hard tops not fiberglass? Edited October 10, 2012 by 56Tbird (see edit history)
Guest billybird
Yes, the originals were fiberglass but most if not all of the repros are not good accurate copies.
Guest 56Tbird
Thanks, I thought they were, but the comment about the fiberglass cover by the OP confused me.
