Guest oldwillys
I came up with this tranny some time ago, but I don't know what it goes in. Any help is appreciated. I'm familiar with the T84 used in the 41-45 military jeeps, but this T84A uses no transfer case. I can send pics to anyone interested. I'd like to find a proper home for this thing. Thanks in advance.
Guest Al Brass
Is the gearbox floor or column change? I recall Studebaker used T84's and Willys, which you are likely to know.RegardsAl
Guest oldwillys
This is floor shift like the jeep. I posted this query on the G503 site a couple years ago and there was a suggestion of belonging to a '32 Continental, but I can find nothing. Size and appearance is nearly identical to the jeep tranny, but the rear bearing is held in place by the speedo gear housing, just like the rear of the T18 transfer case. Looks like the driveline bolts straight to it.
