Guest Mochet
Make sure the switch in the middle of the firewall isn't "off" or the wire from it to the magneto isn't bad. This grounds the magneto and stops the spark. Your second check should be to remove the round contact cover off the magneto to be sure all the parts are aligned and are making contact. Then use a spark plug tester or something to see if you get spark right off the magneto connections to the wires. You should get spark even at low turning speed or there is a problem with your magneto.Phil Edited November 12, 2011 by Mochet (see edit history)
