I lost the ebay auction to a last second bidder for $56. Thank you Limolarry@msn.com
Guest
Why in the world would you stop bidding at $56 when you know the going price??
Guest
This guy was a last second bidder. It was looking like I was going to be the winner, then he bid in the last minute of the auction. Larry
Guest
That's called sniping. It makes lots of people mad, but there's nothing "illegal" about it.
Get good at it, or get used to losing because of it.
The winning bidder probably watched the auction the entire time waiting to pounce.
It's the best way to not drive the price up on an item. Bid your max at the end, and either you don't pay more than your personal maximum and win, or you lose it to someone who'd pay more.
Guest
Thank you for the info and I have found a cover today for $50. Thank you everyone for your time. I knew if I held out I would find a cover resonably priced. Larry
Guest
Used Timing covers are usually a waste of time and money, buy new and be safe why wreck your valuable 455 with junk parts?
