Guest palosfv3
Unfortunately I am in not at that point yet. I sold the Facel at the Russo & Steele Tent Sale in 2010. The 52 Lincoln is a historic custom from the 50's done by Valley Customs of Burbank ,Ca . The car has significant links to Dean Batchelor , the automotive photographer who's name graces the "Batchelor Award " given at Pebble Beach for the best historic custom or hot rod displayed at the event . This car is sort of welcome at classic car events like Geneva if its all back in shape but its currently in its found original condition which leaves a little to be desired. We were invited and did display this car at the LA 2011 Grand National Roadster Shows's " Customs Then and Now Display " last January. It was quite an honor to be recognized in the same circle of noteable customs cars like the Hirohata Merc, the Polynesian, The Raven . It would be nice to meet up with you. Look for the gray haired guy with a beard and long hair.
