My 8v started running ruff at the stop light , then I noticed the check eng. light had just come on, I limped home about two miles slow. Pulled out the big blue book and started reading.

I had to move the TC the next morn to get the spare car out and to my supprize no check eng. light and she ran smooth. Still not going to drive her entill I can check every thing out.

Looking to you guys got any advise

Pull the error codes from the computer (key on-off-on-off-on, count the flashes [it's in the manual under error codes retrieval if you've never done it...]) and that should tell you why the engine light came on, and hopefully points you to the issue.

Cliff----check the spark plug wires @ the distributor cap. They sometimes like to work themselves loose and create an on/off/on situation. It comes out of nowhere and disappears just as quickly.
