Hi, I am the proud new owner of a model 25 Buick, that was formally owned by Mr. Hodgin in Portland Or. I am looking for any info I can get about this car, or model 25"s in general. I know the car has been in the Rose Parade a few times. First and most important question is, at what level do I set the oil, in relationship to the glass sight gauge? Thank you for any info you can provide.:)

Hi ?,

The oil level is checked by opening the top cock (full level) on the front left of the sump. If no oil appears, open the lower one (minimum level). The site glass on the dash has a small rotor inside (if the glass isn't so dirty you can't see it) and it shows the driver that oil is circulating.

Regards

Al

Dear JF:

Come over to the Buick part of this website and get to meet Mark Shaw. He has a B25 and knows a bunch about them.

Also, consider this an invitation to join the Buick Club of America.

Regards, Dave Corbin, South Central Regional Director, BCA
