Rear axle seal

I need to replace the rear axle seal on my 65 300 I do know there is an inner and outer seal , does any know if i will destroy the bearing to replace the outter seal , is the bearing pressed on to the axle shaft? I need to replace this fast as the oil is running out bad no noise from the bearing, but due to my wifes serious illness i need to do this as cheap as possiable right at the monent. I need to order the seals so if i need to get the bearing i will also have to order it. It has been along time since i replaces one of these and cant remember.
