sosuzguy Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 I'm about to tackle repairing my C60 manual air conditioning. I believe it's already been converted. Was working fine then the compressor locked up.I've got a well seasoned AC guy who's coming over the house to point and tell me what to do.BUT any suggestions from any of you? I've already heard to change the condensor and flush the rest when you change out the compressor. Let's start a discussion I'm ready to learn something new! Guest wildcat465 Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 Jayson, be sure to pick up an expansion valve, they are cheap. Change the accumulator it will store all of the junk in your system, accumulator, get it, hee, hee. Seriously, these things are the bare minimum when replacing a compressor.
