William R. Tritt, fiberglass car pioneer

Mr. William R. Tritt of Monroe County, West Virginia passed away March 25th in a nursing facility. Mr. Tritt, 93, was born in Pasedena, California. He was the owner of Glasspar in the 1950's and built fiberglass bodies for boats and cars. The cars included the Glasspar G2, Brooks Boxer, Alembic I, and the Woodill Wildfire. A Glasspar G-2 is now in the Smithsonian Museum. Mr. Tritt relocated to Monroe County to be near relatives. He is survived by 2 sons and 2 granddaughters.
