Who can inform me about the valveclearance, breakerpoints gap and ignition timing for a 1921 model K 5-P touring ? Thanks in advance.

Distributer points gap is 18 thousandths of an inch. Spark plugs sit 27 to 30 thou. Sorry no measurements are in "emus", or ethnic measurement units: (which have advantages for many scientific purposes, but not always brilliant for workshop use because the units often do not bear a sensible relationship to what you have to measure. And Napoleon was only a little short person who would not even have been able to step one yard, let alone a metre; because of his painful medical problem at Waterloo.) Distributer points just start to open with piston at top dead centre, with the spark leve 1.5 inches on the quadrant from full retard position.

I have a copy of a book by grace of John Ryder, the King of Coonabarabran, ; but if I tried to find it right now I would hopelessly disorder other things that I need to find. Typical valve clearancesat the time may have been 4 and 6 thou Inlet and exhaust, or 6 and 8 thou respectively
