Bob, <P>Can you briefly explain how that is done? I've always wondered how they got such a beautiful wood grain on steel in the low-tech 20's and 30's. <P>Also, can you do the wood process on ANY part, including plastic? That would open up a whole new list of possibilities..... <P>Joe

Hi Reatta Man. I use the original factory process that takes the woodgrain from an etched metal plate that has been etched from approxiamtely 3-7 thousands of an inch deep from a photograph of an original piece of wood. Absolutely. I can apply an absolutely beautiful woodgrain using this process on virtually any surface. Do you have any specifc piece(s) in mind. Let me know.
