Steve Suttle
While looking for 32 x 4 tires for my DB 116 roadster I only found them at Coker. Is there a preference between the Firestone Non Skids and the Goodrich cord tires they offer?Does anyone know what the OEM brand was? I know many companies used several different suppliers, but I don't know about DB.Are there other brands or another source? Thanks.
Guest 1930
Fisk was the tire if I remember right in 29/30 DA. I guess I could be mistaken but off the top of my head I dont think I am. If you find a set of those let me know
Steve Suttle
I know that Willys-Overland used Fisk tires in that era. You can actually read the brand name on the tires of the cars pictured in their advertising.I like to look of Non Skids to be sure, but if the OEM tire was the Goodrich and not the Firestone, I'd prefer to use them.Fords are easy -- most (but as it turns out not all) were equipped with Firestones based on the handshake deal between Henry and Harvey. But then again, most everything about restoring a Ford is easy.
