1925 DB roadster 32 x 4 tires

Recommended Posts

While looking for 32 x 4 tires for my DB 116 roadster I only found them at Coker.

Is there a preference between the Firestone Non Skids and the Goodrich cord tires they offer?

Does anyone know what the OEM brand was? I know many companies used several different suppliers, but I don't know about DB.

Are there other brands or another source?

Thanks.

Fisk was the tire if I remember right in 29/30 DA. I guess I could be mistaken but off the top of my head I dont think I am. If you find a set of those let me know

I know that Willys-Overland used Fisk tires in that era. You can actually read the brand name on the tires of the cars pictured in their advertising.

I like to look of Non Skids to be sure, but if the OEM tire was the Goodrich and not the Firestone, I'd prefer to use them.

Fords are easy -- most (but as it turns out not all) were equipped with Firestones based on the handshake deal between Henry and Harvey.

But then again, most everything about restoring a Ford is easy.
