Guest FOlsen
I am nearing time to upholster my 26/27 four door sedan. I plan to do the seats black and the rest medium gray. Question is how much fabric of each color will I need? Thanks for the help , Frank

trimacar
Hi- without seeing the car it's hard to tell. There's waste and such. But here's a guideline. Each door, a yard of fabric (4) Seats, backrest 1.5 yards each, cushions 2 yards each, 7 yards total. Quarter panels 2 yards. Misc waste and such 2 yards. So 4 plus 7 plus 2 plus 2, 15 yards total. That may be too much, but better to have too much than too little of a lot of fabric.Headliner should be a lighter fabric than seats, has to be wide enough for the top and then just measure, probably need 2.5 yards (7-8 feet), depending on how you sew the seams....
