Tom Deering Posted January 22, 2002 Share Posted January 22, 2002 This method isn't fool-proof, but it's usually quite reliable. <P>216--The side cover plate goes from the pan to the head with the spark plugs going through it. The rocker arm cover is mounted with two studs.<P>235--The side cover plate goes from the pan to just under the spark plugs. the rocker arm cover MAY be mounted with two studs on early 235s. Later rocker arm covers were mounted with four screws.<P>The sure-fire method is to refer to engine numbers and printed materials.<P> Tom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
