rons49
Does any one know any history of MAPCO. This company made voltage regulators and electrical components. The actual name of the company is(was) The Machined Automotive Parts Corporation, Detroit Michagan. Did a large conglamorate buy them out, or what? Couldn't find info on internet. rons49
I saw them on line but, I don''t think its the same evolution, since Mapco made electronic components. I wondered if they evolved into the auto parts retailer, kind of a Western Auto Parts.
rons49
This mapco produced voltage regulators et al, since the 1920s, and I just saw a metal advertisement sign from 1949 on Ebay. Where did they go? I figured Standard Parts gobbled them up in their furious aquision rampage in the 60s to present, but no mention any where???
