humber349
Hi all,I think I read the answer to this somewhere before but I can't remember where.Did Canadian export models have the X suffix, ie 28-27X, or was it just the US export cars? unimogjohn
Phil, I have a 1923 McLaughlin Buick, and it is marked for export. But different than a Buick. On the firewall data plate the model and serial number are normal, but the engine number on the data plate is X-****. Also the engine is stamped CPX-****. Actually, the X is almost stamped over the P as their was not enough room for a complete X on the block face. CP engines were built in Canada. The car is right hand drive.
