Guest CHAD ANDERSON
HELLO I RECENTLY PURCHASED A "MOTOR GUAGE" AT A ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLE MEET,I KNOW IT WAS PRODUCED IN 1931 BY JOSEPH WIEDENHOFF COMPANY. IT CONTAINS ALL OF THE LITERATURE AND MANUALS AND EVERYTHING IS THERE. ANYONE KNOW WHAT ITS WORTH OR HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF IT? THANK YOU. This portable device was called the "Wonder Tool of the Age", and was used for regulating valve and ignition timing and synchronizing high compression engines. It checks everything under the hood through the spark hole plug, without dismantling the Engine. The operating manual include tune up specs for cars from 1925 thru 1932 and has a supplement for 1935. This gauge was used on all cars including the true classics - Dusenberg, Packard, Pierce Arrows, Stutz, as well as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Lincoln, etc WHATS IT WORTH? THANK YOU Edited October 28, 2010 by CHAD ANDERSON (see edit history)
