Guest Posted July 11, 2001 Share Posted July 11, 2001 I need your help! This past Saturday, July 7, 2001, a 20 year old IDIOT rear-ended me <BR>while driving my white 1960 Buick Electra Convertible. Because of this, I now desperately need a new rear bumper & assembly, chrome, brackets, rt reverse lamp and bezel, lower chrome trim around license plate access to gas filler, for a start. I am an avid Hemmings reader and will be devouring all of the pages, but if any of you guys can help me out, I sure as heck would appreciate it. I did all I could not to hit this jerk....he was sooo concerned about his 94 Honda, and told me that he hit me because the car was too long..sheesh! He called the female cop a "[censored]" so she wrote him a reckless driving ticket...maybe his insurance rates will skyrocket or they will cancel him. LAST YEAR I WRECKED MY 60 ELECTRA THEY HAD THE PARTS.580-855-2449<P>I ALSO HAVE TRIM PARTS THAT I COULD SELL I HAVE A DUPLICATE OF ALL CHROME FOR THE 60 INSIDE AS WELL AS OUT.<P>FOR BUMPERS CALL DESERT DOG AUTO PARTS IN WOODSTOCK IL. Every time I drive one of my old cars, I nervously watch that rearview mirror hoping that it won't be "my time".<BR> <BR>I can't help you with the parts, but if you need any assistance with "calibrating" the punk a**hole that popped your car, just let me know. <P>By the way, there was a posting slightly more recent than yours that included a response from a fella in New Mexico that had a 4dr Electra he was parting out.
