Guest
I drive a 1930 Pontiac as my daily driver. After watching for 40 years I have located two (2) spare carbs. Marvel 1 1/4 inch throat. Both of these have been sitting for over 30 years. In six months I have managed to free up all the screws, the choke and throttle but I cannot get the accelerator pump to free up. It is copper/brass/bronze and is mounted directly in the pot metal of the carb body. Any great new or old ideas to free it up and not wreck the carb itself.
Ultimatly I could drill it out and make a new one but...?
Thanks
Reid
