Did it disappear? I was following the auction just to see how it went. I can't find it now.

Did a brief search and came up with page full negative rants. I think I'll avoid Copart.

I have been watching this car to see what it would bring. I called the NC Copart sale location and was told the car had been removed from the sale by the owner ( a woman, I think) as she was selling it to someone not connected with the sale.

BTW, I have hed very considerate and complete help and information from everybody at the Copart locations I called. I also called the corporate site and got friendly help. Guess I'll look for any negative info on the web.

I'm glad you looked into it and found them to be helpful.

I didn't do much research but the bit of reading that I did on the linked site was enough to convince me not to bid on anything that I can't see in person. One of the posts stated that valuable parts such as air bags are apt to be missing. The collection of complaints suggests that they indulge in some insider perks and do not have a very strong code of ethics. I hope I'm wrong.
