f147pu
I need an "emergency brake trip rod end (lower)". dwg #28503, for my 1930. The same part fits all cars from 10B thru model147 except 130. Anyone have a good one on a parts car? This is the little block with two teeth that engages with the quadrant rack.Gordon Howard
Steve Braverman
Hi Gordon,I have a 10B parts car. All the hand brake stuff is still there, but I don't know how good it is. It should be ok. I will look later this week.

Steve Braverman
Hi Gordon,The part you need is there and in good shape, now I just have to figure out how to remove it.
f147pu
Steve - It just has a cotter pin or similar in it. The knob/button on top unscrews so you can partially raise the rod to get the bottom end off and out. G. Steve Braverman
Sorry Gordon, I've been very busy lately, and have had no time to get out to the garage. Hopefully, I will get to it soon.
Steve Braverman
Hi Gordon,I removed the entire handbrake assembly from the car, and attempted to remove the piece you need. Unfortunately, I broke the rod off inside the part. It can be drilled out, but I'll leave that to you. Sorry.I'll mail it off to you tomorrow. send me a PM with your address.
