A IS RAVEN BLACK.E IS COLONIAL WHITE.6 D IS THE 6TH OF APRIL.I DON'T KNOW THE TRIM E OR THE 738.THE 738 IS A DISTRICT CODE BUT I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT.ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. Guest raywilks Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 the trim code E is: dark gray vinyl and light gray cloth.i thought the 738 is a production code.you probably know the first letter of te serial number is the engine code.you might get better response from a post on the ford site 54 up. Guest raywilks Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 U is 272 cu in, 6 is year, R is richmond[assembled],G is mainline or customline. you already know you have the customline account of the 70B. the 6 digit number is the consecutive serial number all models.i am sure the 738 is a production code but i do not have the breakdown on that. maybe someone else will respond with more. i have tons of parts for that car if you need something. raywilks3430@msn.com, 407-422-1018. i am in orlmdo, fla.
