Guest hpranch
I need to have the cowl light lense trim re nickeled for my 25'. I do not know how to take them apart to re nickel and not damage the glass. Any suggestions or anyone can do this for me?Eric Larsonhpranch@interx.net
Guest oldodgeboys
My 25 has a small screw on the side of the rim. Remove the screw then turn the rim to remove it. I'm not sure if this is the factory set-up or a later modification.I have not tried to remove the glass from the rim...

Guest chuckjaeson
When I did mine, the glass came out of the frame easy enough, but after the nickle plating, The glass wouldn't fit. A buddy suggested freezing the ring, which expanded it, and the glass went right in!!! Hopr this helps!!
Jim Anselmo
OK, I thought freezing caused things to contract (except for water)..... At any rate weren't you afraid that once the glass went in it might break when the rim heated back up?
