Guest ZombyWoof
A shop here in Vancouver, Canada, down the street from where I work, that does nothing but old cars, has a box of parts left over from some work on a ’65 Riviera. There’s what looks like a headlight motor (rough shape...loose parts inside), a Sonomatic radio (unsure if it works), a black thing I can’t identify, and a few other bits... including a vacuum trunk release unit (just the part that goes in the glove box). The lock pillar seals and armrest are probably from an early 70’s Chevelle, but were in the box. If someone can confirm they aren’t Riv related, that would be helpful. Pix are below. Shop wants it all sold to one buyer. They’re very old school, and as far as I know, don’t have e-mail or a website. I have no financial interest in the outcome of the sale, but if you’re interested, I’d be willing to give you the phone number of the shop so you can work out a price. From there, I’m willing to package up and get to the post office for you. I’d get the price of shipping ahead of time, and add to the cost of the parts when you pay the shop. Just want to make sure that if this stuff has any value, it goes to a good home. Edited August 18, 2009 by ZombyWoof (see edit history)
