Foggy about the Fog Lamps

I am slowly learning about quirks, but need some expert advice. My fog lamps were working fine. All of a sudden, when you turn on the switch only the parking lamps come on. As the parking lights come on when pressed, I am assuming that the switch is not the problem. As both lights were functioning and simultaneously quit, I am assuming the bulbs are not the problem, although I have not checked with the amp meter. I have only found a circuit breaker for them and did switch a couple around which didn't help.

Is there something that is "a characteristic of the vehicle" that I should know about?

Check the bulbs, when I first go mine they did the same thing. Working then not.
