Guest oldodgeboys
My 25 DB oil pump vanes have tip profiles of being almost fully rounded. There is some wear, so I can’t really tell what the original/correct profile should look like. I know these pumps are not 'high-output' pumps. They're probably more mediocre-output than anything else. Still though, my pump pressure build-up is sure slow.Given that there are several factors that contribute to oil pressure and rate of pressure rise; does anyone know if the oil pump vane tip profile significantly affects the oil pressure?Does anyone know what the original/correct profile looks like? Should they be rounded, or more flat on the pressure side, or ??Thanks to all.
