Guest jack_a_eckert Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any tricks for extracting the iron distributor advance plate from an early Ford V8-85 (1937-38 "divers helmet type") aluminum distributor frame? The iron plate looks like it's simply inserted into the aluminum frame but I can't seem to get it loose even after soaking in penetrating oil. Thanks.
