Guest Ravensmiles Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Has anyone ever heard of a custom 8 cruiser with a tag bolted to the block saying it is a special engine with a number that has to be included with the normal engine numbers when ordering parts? The person I purchased this car from said he was going to replace a blown head gasket and took the car apart to start working in the process he took ill and lost the water pump, radiator and head cover bolts. I don't have even one of these bolts to take to the parts store, the thread count and pitch shouldn't be too hard to find but how do I find out how long to purchase the bolts? Does anyone have any idea where to find replacement bolts? I have tried jc whitney, arp, kanter auto and serched the web til my fingers are sore.
