Would anyone help ID this Studebaker heater ?

Thanks Gary. I haven't even dusted it off yet. I have no idea where it came from. I don't think we ever owned an M5,15,16.....

Does anyone need it?

Did you pressure test the core? Does the motor run (6 volts)? Is the nickel plating on the Quad Duty tag in good shape? If yes, then $50-$100, if not $25-$50. I'm basing my estimate on the fact that it seems to be all there, no dents, only a little surface rust, and I'm assuming that the fan will run. Of course, you need to find (at least) 1 buyer willing to pay your price. But then, that's what Ebay is for...

Ebay fees have gone up so much, that I try not to use them if I don't have to. I haven't tested the heater, but I appreciate the info. I found a rusted one on there that sold for $26 not long ago.

Does anybody know who made these heaters ?

They are a dead-ringer for the "recirculating" heaters used in Chrysler Products in the late 1930's through 1948.
