Now, if the complete car is a Super then this is a nice 50's Buick. (I mean no disrespect to Special owners-ever) The 52 Super used the GM "C" body and had an upgraded instrument panel. I would part out the CF subframed thing.

The seller emailed me back and said both cars are Specials.

He said the pale green, faded complete car is bone stock.

Still, this is the 2nd run on Craigs List, he lowered the price to $1300 for both cars, you get a 455 and TH400 in the deal. I suspect a $600 offer on the complete unmolested 52 Special would yield a sale.

I am buying up these low priced projects as fast as I can but I need some help.

Well then, it would have to be the Special Deluxe (American) or Custom (Canadian) to have the chrome fins...if I recall correctly, the base Special didn't have them.
