alesco
I'm still trying to obtain an 88 manual, but in the meantime, I was hoping to have a list of the diagnostic codes for my year. The Reatta diagnostics page only lists the 90/91 years. I've got a B123 code and don't know what it is.
Guest
B is for "Body" as opposed to E for Engine.<P>A B123 is: Courtesy Lamps Panel Switch Circuit.<P>This deals with the slider switch on the left headlamp switch assembly. The book quotes:<P>"Code B123 will set if the panel dimming pot has not failed and the BCM sees a circuit 685 grounded while the dimmer switch position was less than a value for maximum panel lamp brightness."<P>Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? But your '88 will let you use the CRT to check the dimmer circuit, shown on page BD2-25 of the 1989 service manual.<P>A manual should accompany every Reatta. Driver optional.
