Guest Posted June 25, 2002 Share Posted June 25, 2002 I would like to know if the Reatta badge on the rear panel, next to the trunk lock, is on with adhesive or has threaded stems and nuts holding it on. reattadudes Posted June 25, 2002 Share Posted June 25, 2002 it should be just adhesive. the easiest way to repaint these is to place on a piece of cardboard, and spray the whole thing. let it dry, and go back with a cloth with lacquer thinner, and carefully wipe the chrome letters off. it will look like new. ccrowe Posted June 25, 2002 Share Posted June 25, 2002 Having personally removed one I can tell you that it is not held on with adhesive. There are pins on the back of the plate that go into the body panel and if I remember correctly, slip on clips that go on the pins.
