drwatson
I'm a bit confused about a detail on the Flat head 6 cooling systems: Years back I swapped engines between 2 1936 Plymouths. 1 engine had the gooseneck water pump flange pictured here. The other engine had a similar flange, but also connected to a short hose piece bridging from water pump to thermostat housing. Can someone explain why the 2 different flanges and also maybe models/years of the different applications.Thank you.
