Well, I'm finally taking the plunge and putting my GSX up for sale. Health problems just about cost my life and have put me deep in debt. Therefore, doing what I feel is necessary I am selling.

This car was the 671th produce in 1970.

Body number = 278404

Body color = QQ Saturn Yellow

Automatic - Non Stage1

I'm sure you guys know all about the GSX's, so I'll tell you just about mine.

I bought to restore and am no longer able to. In my opinion, it still warrants a good restoration. However, the car can be driven as is. Although it hasn't been driven for the last 7 years that I know of. The interior has been redone with "Legendary Auto Interiors LTD" and looks great. Floor and trunk pans look in good condition. Rear quarters have had some repair done to them some years ago. Trunk lid has been replaced. I have original rear spoiler and front lower shield.

The numbers all match but one item. The block. I checked them out with the help of Dave Kleiner over the phone. I talked to one of the previous owners, and he told me the original owner replaced the block within 3 months of owning it. It appears everything else was swapped out.

It has been documented by Wayne Roberts and I do have the original build sheet. I also have two folders full of work and parts receipts from years past and GSX emblems, stickers, etc.

I also have about $20,000 worth of parts I bought from Year One when I first got the car. Was really pumped! Probably wasn't a very good move!

Although the original parts were still in good condition, I invested in these and many other new parts, to make this rare GSX a show stopper when completed. Extensive parts list available on request.

With these parts, the extensive documentation, and the heart of it all, a very rare 1970 GSX 455, you will have everything you need to be one of the select few to own a rare piece of history that has been referred to by historians as Buicks performance ZENITH of the musclecar wars.

I'm asking $65,000 with all the parts! But, will consider an offer on car alone.

It looks like a very nice Buick GSX. I think you would have better luck finding a buyer if you put it into the BCA Buy and Sell forum.

Just feel like saying that thats a NICE ride! I love GSXs. I wish I was already outta school making real money LOL this is definitely a good deal. Soooo nice really clean engine bay too!
