DBC Website Update

Hey Guys,

I am new to the DBC and their website, so I don't mean to step on anyone's toes here, but as I was doing my monthly scan of the website it hit me that the last photos of a meet were from 2003. I know that the organization has had a few meets since then, so why don't we have any new pictures?

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I learn a lot from looking at the photos, and to be truthful, that site is the only place that I have ever seen a picture of another speedster.

Jason, the lack of pictures on the site, is due partly to me. As the webmaster for the site, which is a volunteer position, I have to find time between work & family. At the present time I do not have a good program in place for handling pictures, which means that every picture I receive I have to manually format it and place it on the site.

The good news is I have been working on a program to allow users to post their own photos and text. This will be divided into section for Cars, Events,and a project section where users can have their own project page set-up and post pictures as the project progreses..

My goal is to have it up and running within a week or so.

Their are some logistics, as we(the club) do not want this to become a dumping ground for advertisments, porn, and other off topic pictures.
