Gary_N
Now that I have the windshield out, I'm trying to figure out how to get the trim off. My manuals are not much help and the trim is in good shape. I'd like to keep it that way. Can anyone provide some advice?? Thanks! Gary
Guest alan_yates
I have a 48 S-11 also. The windshield trim is basically glued in place with a black tar like adhesive. I found that out after I removed mine and did some damage by prying. I plan to try again on a parts car I have. This time, I will use a torch to carefully heat the trim, and hopefully soften the adhesive enough to release the trim from the body.
Gary_N
Thanks for the advice. I was afraid to pry. By the way, do you have two hood springs or one? I only have one and it looks to be intentional. But, my MOPAR knowledge is no too great and my manuals don't seem to have any pictures. Thanks!Gary
