Removing Windshield Trim - '48 S11

I have a 48 S-11 also. The windshield trim is basically glued in place with a black tar like adhesive. I found that out after I removed mine and did some damage by prying. I plan to try again on a parts car I have. This time, I will use a torch to carefully heat the trim, and hopefully soften the adhesive enough to release the trim from the body.

Thanks for the advice. I was afraid to pry. By the way, do you have two hood springs or one? I only have one and it looks to be intentional. But, my MOPAR knowledge is no too great and my manuals don't seem to have any pictures.

Thanks!

Gary
