Guest bkazmer Posted June 25, 2007 Share Posted June 25, 2007 I'm trying to correct some old routing mistakes - is the heater water pipe from the water pump to the back of the engine still used on cars with the AC compressor? Guest Albert Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 the pipe should be standard 1/2 inch pipe thread, and should be able to pick up another nipple at an auto parts supply shop, it may also help if you run a pipe tap through the hole to clean it out.. I bought a pipe tap just for doing the intakes on the GM's where they used a pot metal connector to join to the heater hose, and we all know how badly pot metal stands up to the elements..
