  1. Hi Guys, Some one told me the extra air vents usually mean a little higher class car, Caddy, Packard? I haven't been able to fins anything on the cowls to identify it, it had dual side mounts if that helps, heres a picture of the dash. Thanks for any help you can give. Bob.

  3. Here in Arizona they have a law that says you can't have any unregistered vehicles on your property and they tried to get me to get rid of the 30 or so I had sitting around, I told the guy to send me a copy of the law he thought I was violating, then I went to the city office and looked up the law in their books, they always leave an out for them selves so you have to look, in AZ there are exceptions, if the vehicle is a Classic, horseless carriage, street rod or for collecting it is exempt from the law, the guy that was bugging me had no idea, and most people that are getting harrassed don't either,so check the laws your self, they aren't going to do any thing they don't have to.
  4. Hi guys, I've been collecting old cars and other stuff since I was in middle school, now that I'm slowing down and have too many other things to worry about I'm starting to sell off some of the stuff I'll never have time to do any thing with, part of my collection is a large pile of 20's and 30's tin, I'm not sure what all is in it but there is a early 30's Willys sedan and three other cowls 3 sets of front fenders and many doors, most has bullet holes but hardly any is rotted out, this is one of the cowls in the pile, I was told it was an Imperial but have since found it's not,I don't know what it is but I have both front fenders for it. I've tried to put a link to the auction but can't seem to get it to come over, my ebay name is 47lincsled and it's listed in antique salvage parts cars.Or you can contact me directly for more info. thanks,Bob.
  5. Hi guys, I was directed to this site by a member and thought I would introduce myself, I live in extreme northern Arizona, any further north and we would be in Utah, I have 4 little girls, the oldest is 10, my wife enjoys old cars and my other activities, she even sews my interiors, my two main projects right now are a WW2 white M-2-A-1 half-track and my 47 Lincoln Zephyr sedan,I will probably make more then a few of you mad because I'm building a lead sled out of it, the engine and tranny were missing when I got it, but the body is absolutely rust free and very straight, since I have 4 kids I needed some thing big and I've always loved fat fender Fords, but the windows were too tall, so with the help of a friend I chopped the top, 4 inches out of the windshield 6 1/2 out of the C pillar, I only cut the top just above the back window, then slid the two halves into each other till the top line came back into shape, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be,I moved the top of the B pillar back so I didn't have to make another cut across the roof, it has a long way to go but it sure make a different looking car.
  6.
