The engine cranks over fine but no spark. The distibutor or (magneto?) is located on the front of the engine and i am wondering how to check/repair this badboy. Any suggestions or pics????? Many thanks to one and all!!

I have an old 1934 V8 pickup that has been sitting for decades and we are trying to get it started. Can you tell if these were negative or positive gound? We think it is for sure a 6volt system. The engine turns over and pretty sure we can get it to fire with a good jump. MrT
