We found some good buys there yesterday. The outside vendors lucked out with the good weather. Not many visitors seemed willing to pay the $3 to go inside, and there seemed to be some vacant spaces inside as well. I hope the region made enough to cover expenses for the event.

The Hawk Mountain V8 Ford club used to have a flea market there in April, I think it was moved to May this year. We vended for a few years about 10 years ago and did ok. We gave it up when we found that no matter how early we got there, other vendors hijacked the tables out of our spaces (each space came with 2-3 large wooden tables).

Yeah, well I'm a woman who is here all week, as I have been for the past 31 years, selling parts and cars at our stand. I know quite a few women who would disagree with your statement, and all the men I know there call it a FLEA MARKET also.

We have successfully registered a mobility scooter without having a handicap placard in past years. They ask, but I do not think they could actually deny you if you do not have one. See the paragraph under "Credible Assurance" https://www.ada.gov/opdmd.htm .

We did the same thing yesterday, about an hour and forty-five minute drive to Hershey post office, worth it for the peace of mind. When I asked the nice lady at the counter if the envelope went off site for processing then came back, she said it would but then offered to put it right in their mailbox for me. We had a great lunch from Smoked bbq while in Hershey then a leisurely drive back home.

From what I read in the Allentown Morning Call, Saturday show visitors will only be able to view a few cars from Mr. Bulgari's collection. Can anyone verify if this is true? Kind of disappointing if it is as this is the only day I can attend.

We parked at the Rt 100 lot on Saturday, as we have for the past several years. Another couple parking their trailer in the lot told us that when they saw the "no parking" sign, they went down to the show field and were told to return to that lot, that parking there was ok. No notes were left on our windshield. We normally bring a brass era car or Model T in a trailer as we live over an hour away in NJ, without easy trailer parking we would bring a more "modern" antique car to the show.

Hi Bill,

I have a 2012 Cooper S, factory ordered, with about 31,000 miles on, has been a very reliable car so far. It is my every day driver. I do make sure to change my oil every 5000 miles, more often than MINI recommends, even on full synthetic I would not go to the factory interval of 10,000 miles especially with a turbo. The only issue I had was a minor coolant leak last year that was quickly taken care of by the dealer while I waited. It is a hoot to drive, gets great mileage, and mine got me through every snowstorm Mother Nature threw at us here in the Northeast last winter.

For Sale: 1950 Ford Convertible

Very solid candidate for restoration to original condition or custom car. Been in storage since 1967. No engine or trans, car was last equipped with a small-block Chevrolet and still has the engine mounts installed for it, but they could be easily removed to install a flathead again. Many new parts (NOS) including steering wheel, outside door handles, trunk hinges, grill pieces, trunk latch, etc. Doors fit nice and close easily. Front floor does have some holes rusted through but can be easily patched. Body cross members rusted but frame is good. It does have its original convertible top but it has not been raised in a few years. Car is located in Hunterdon county NJ. Please email for more information. Asking $13,000 obo.
