Thanks for your reply. The '37-1500 owners manual says this is a rimless headlight. It says to turn the screw out until you feel resistance. Then push the bottom of the lens in while pushing downward with the palms of your hands. I've tried and tried this, without success. It doesn't seem this should be so difficult but oh well...... Think i'll do a little prying on the rim.... Thanks again.

Please help... After loosening the screw under the headlight pod on my '37 Packard, I'm unable to push the bottom of the lens in and down as described in the manual. Can anyone better describe the process and perhaps describe what loosening that screw does and what all is inside the headlight pod? I'm fearful of breaking the lens but sure would like to drive the car at night. Thanks. Rick Deckert
