Our company purchased a 48 lincoln convertible that is said to have belonged to john wayne. the story is that john wayne lost this car in a poker game. I have a copy of the build sheet from the henry ford, which gives "Ford Motor Co" where the destination dealership should be. I was told this usually indicates that it was given to a ford executive or as a gift to some one.... now, i'm stuck! Any sugesstions on where to go next? I've gone back as far as I can with previous owners, the man who sold them the car is no longer living.
