  1. Thanks for the response. I will look into that. Nick
  2. I bought a parts car for my 1969 Buick Electra Convertible. The engine in the 4-door Buick Electra parts car appears to be in good condition. I just rebuilt the top end on the engine in the convertible, so I don't anticipate needing another engine. I was thinking about buying a 70-72 skylark and putting the 430 motor in it to make a muscle car. My understanding is that the 400-430-455 engine was made from the same block. I need to know if the 430 motor (and engine mounts) will drop in the skylark (replace the 350). I bumped into a guy at a swap meet who stated that a plate needed to be welded to the frame to add support for the motor mounts. I'm not sure I want to go through that trouble. If anyone has any information or suggestions on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Nick
  3. Looks like you may be looking for the original style fuel sending unit. I recently had to replace the fuel sending unit in my 69 Buick Electra convertible. I purchased an aftermarket sending unit from GM Obsolet for $190. It's not the original style, but it works great. You can try them if you don't have any luck finding the original. Good luck! Nick
  4. I have a 69 Buick Electra convertible as well. I recently purchased the body and chassis manuals for the car. I believe it has most of the information on the decals. My car also has some of the decals left. I can probably assist you. Are you looking for information on any decals in particular?
  5. I own a 69 Buick Electra convertible. My outer beltline window sweepers on my doors are cracked and weathered. I'm having a difficult time finding replacement parts for them. Can anyone assist with any suggestions? Thanks. NickC
