  2. This question is probably directed to the Canadian collectors. Is there any resource out there where I can check out the history on my vehicle? The vehicle is a 1927 McLaughlin Buick and was assembled in Oshawa Ontario. The Ministry of Transportation only provides vehicle history dating back to 1970. Any information would be much appreciated
  3. Just purchased a 1927 Buick and was advised that I need to put an additive in the gas to replace the lead that was used in gas years ago. Is this correct and if so any idea what this product is called and where I can buy this product? I would appreciate hearing from anyone out there who has this vehicle as I am not familiar with the 3 levers on the steering column? Thanks
  4. No Oval window. The car model is a 27, same year as the car. Thanks
  5. It is a 4 door sedan with a trunk on the back and a spare tire mounted on the trunk. It has never been restored, 42,000 original miles and only the slightest bit of surface rust in a few spots. I was amazed at how good of shape this car was when I brought it home. I am only the 3rd registered owner.
  6. Hello Buick Collectors I just purchased a 1927 Buick. The person I bought the car from was able to get it started but could not tell me what the 3 levers on the steering column were for. The vehicle would stall out when the gas ran out of the resevoir that is located on the firewall. Can anyone out there provide me with operating instruction? It has been 25 years since I drove an antique car and I have no idea what I am doing!!! Many Thanks
