  1. I need some seats and/or seat sprinds for my 1931 Buick Model 8-94. Also need four hubcaps for same. Thanks Sam
  2. I am looking for the seats and/or seat springs for this model 94. Also need four hubcaps for same. Thanks Sam
  3. My son in law and I have had a couple old Buicks fall into our hands. He owns a garage that we plan on dedicating one bay simply for the restoration of these vehicles. My question, what books would anyone reccommend to get us pointed in the right direction? We have joined the Buick COA and have gotten some info from those good people. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Sam
  4. Being new to this, what reference materials should I be looking for, and where? How much specific info would be available for these cars? Thanks for any help. Sam
  5. I am on the trail of a 1968 Road Runner that I hear might be obtainable. I don't know condition etc., but had a super B when I was a youngun and am interested. Can anyone give me approximate value of this Road Runner assuming it was in reasonably good condition? Thanks Saminy
  6. I posted previously on a 1931 Buick Model 94 asking for help decoding numbers. We have been moving the vehicles (and parts)(and more parts), hence the delay. Mr. Corbin said the engine number before did not match, and he was correct. That was a cast #.The stamped number by the oil filler is 2708593. If someone could give me their thoughts on that. In addition, we also came across another 1931 Buick--Model 87 I think. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this as well. The stamped # by oil filler is 2735356. A cast # on upper motor is 1248873-3. Under passenger fender is 2583724. On a plate on the firewall is the following: Fisher Body Detroit, Michigan Job # 31059 Body#12735 31 Mod 8-87 Also, on the axel is 1913299. A couple of general questions. What books, literature etc is available for these cars, and where is the best place to start looking? Particularly the Model 94. Seems to be a rare beast, eh? I sincerely appreciate any help you might offer. Sam

  8. I need some help decoding a vin# for a 1931 Buick. Inside on the passenger side firewall was 31 MOD 8-94. On front of motor on the block was MS7. On passenger side, low on the block was 1248873-2 and under that 3-118. On front right side framerail was Buick 2530053. Any help decoding these would be appreciated. Saminy
  9. My son in law is beginning restoration on a 1931 Buick. All paperwork says series 80, however he has found where someone has penciled series 90. It is a two door convertible with a rumble seat, and has a 344 flathead. How do we correctly ID this beast, and what info/resources would anyone reccommend for research? Thanks in advance. Saminy
