  1. Just when you thought all the great cars had been found, another set of doors open to reveal an amazing collection of heavy metal.

Trust us, this isn't another "too-good-to-be-true" tale of vintage metal found in a Portuguese Barn. This one is the real deal.

A lucky guy out in Maryland stumbled upon the find of a lifetime tucked away in a barn that includes twenty-five "forgotten" cars. Nestled among the dusty automotive relics was a heap of vintage metal ranging from a 1903 steam-powered Locomobile runabout to a 1954 Packard Clipper. This incredible find is every collector's dream and also included a beautiful 1937 Packard Twelve, a 1931 Renault town car and a 1912 Pierce.

All we can say is that we wish that we'd been the ones to find them!

  2. Has anyone been following this event? It seems pretty interesting. Apparently they buried a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere in front of the courthouse in downtown Tulsa 50 years ago and will dig it up this summer. Back then, residents were invited to guess the population of Tulsa in 2007 and whoever was closest wins the car and the items that were placed in the car. However, the entries were put on microfilm and were placed in the vault with the car. Nobody is exactly sure what they will fine when they unearth the car.

Old Cars Weekly magazine has some great info about this event on their website at: www.oldcarsweekly.com . Just click on the Tulsarama button on top of the page.
