  1. on my screen its huge and as an image, not an attachment. Oh and I got the tranmission today its a 53 dual range <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
  2. buying a hydramatic out of a 52 caddy, buyer isnt quite sure if its a single or dual range. His description makes it sounds like a single so I'm having him check the data tag for me. I know the early 52 lincolns ran singles with the laters running duals. the dual on the hydramatic from my lincoln says L52. So I'm wondering, if his says 52 anything would that be a dual? if the caddy's where a split year in 52 also maybe they where just getting rid of old stock so it could be a 51 code making it a single range?
  3. thanks, I've tried their too and one person suggested I check here. I know a guy who's ran a 51 on his so apparently they work. This guy also knows quite a bit about the lincolns and says up to 56 off of the GM's will also fit.
  4. looking for a hydramatic, preferably dual range. To go on my 52 but from what I hear any hydramatic from 51-56 will fit with 52-54 being the most desirable for my 52 lincoln. Or maybe you know of someone who repairs these near Dayton Ohio? email me at afatc@kascable.com
