  1. We identified the car, through the serial numbers on the front door hinge post- (7037036) It's a 1946 Chrysler New Yorker Highlander. Thanx to every one who read this & wanted to help! ^_- From: CcapriciousS

  4. I don't have a photo of the car...I have narrowed it down to a 46 or 47 chrysler either a Saratoga, Town and Country, or New Yorker, (based on the C39), but my boyfriend insists that it is a Highlander, "that's the only name it has any where on or in the car". He dug this car up out of a field that belonged to a friend of his, who told him that the car had been there around 60 years...So, when we say he just dug it up somewhere, it's true!! He-he!! ^_- Anyways the next question I am going to post is, [color:"red"] ... is there such a thing as a car that is a 46-47 Chrysler Highlander, with Highlander as the model, solely...Yes, it has the Highlander plaid
  5. okay, that was embarrassing, but I don't have a photo of the car...I have narrowed it down to a 46 or 47 chrysler either a Saratoga, Town and Country, or New Yorker, (based on the C39), but my boyfriend insists that it is a Highlander, "that's the only name it has any where on or in the car". 6. can you identify this car by its numbers?? chrysler flat 8 motor # C39-16913. transmission # 1118721-2, serial # (from front door hinge post) 7037036, manifold # 654783-3 <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I have narrowed it down somewhat, it's a 46 or 47 Chrysler, either a Town and Country, a New Yorker, or a Saratoga, or as my boyfriend insists, it's a Chrysler Highlander. Now the question is, is there such a thing as a Chrysler Highlander, with the Highlander being the model, solely, not referring to the interior plaid- which it does have-green.
