Equipment at State Inspection Station. When I apply brakes, you can tell it doesn't seem to be full braking power.

No stopping power. Front system is OK. Suggestions as to what is wrong??

Bad news ... and now I need some consultation. The brake problem is more than a cable. Yes the parking brake needs a cable and sleeve but now I need a master cylinder proportioning valve (or flow valve) for my rear brakes. Does anyone know the availability of parts and the effort involved to get the rear brakes up to snuff?

Can someone give me an idea about fixing my parking brake? The cable hangs under the car (I moved it and tied it off so it doesn't drag) and the end of the cable has a connector like metal device (cable is connected to front side of vehicle). It looks like the other side (rear side) of the connector failed. Is this a valid diagnosis? Are these brake parts fairly generic? Sorry, I'm not much of a mechanic.

FYI The problem was a bent rod (Angle) that connected to the electric motor. Removed it, straightened it, re-installed it and now works fine.

My wipers were on and working. There was a clicking sound as they changed direction but they were not providing full coverage. Then a loud bang and they stopped working. They are stuck in the middle of the windshield. Switch seems to go on and off OK but wipers are dead. 1989 Reatta coupe. What are some diagnoses? Is there a wiper motor that blew up? Other possible problems? and fixes? Thanks

Ok just checked again. Only current code is E041.

I replaced the Cam Sensor. The SES light was still on. In addition now to the E041 code, the E039 code is also active. I guess the cam sensor magnet is next in line to be replaced. What is with the E039 now? The following codes are in history: E039 E041 B122 B123 B446 B671 B553 PS How do I clear codes to see what comes up after clearing? Thanks
